The Scottish Arts Trust is the body responsible for the overall management of the Scottish Arts Club Short Story Competition, the Isobel Lodge Fund and the Edinburgh Flash Fiction Award.
The Trust was set up in 2014 to advance all forms of the creative arts in Scotland, to improve the accessibility of the creative arts to the general public and to encourage and assist in the development of up-and-coming artists, exhibitors and performers. The Trust aims to expand opportunities for audiences to see, use, and experience the arts in ways that can inspire, enhance knowledge, and improve the quality of life. The Trust also manages the Scottish Portrait Awards.
With this in mind, the Trust supports a range of awards and prizes as well as exhibitions and concerts. We are developing partnerships and aim to raise funds that can provide financial support and opportunities for artists, writers, musicians, photographers and others working in the arts as well as for publications, talks, and events.
